Job Placement Coordinator

Zarem-Golde ORT Technical Institute has an immediate opening for a Job Placement Coordinator. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a career services or job placement professional and be familiar with the Chicagoland employment market.

The Job Placement Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining employer contacts, facilitating students’ resume and job preparation, assisting students and graduates with employment searches, seeking out new venues for student placement, tracking of completion and placement rates, coordination of employer site visits and interviews, coordination of student applications for employment and interview schedules, and tracking employer satisfaction and employee verification.

The position requires excellent communication skills in English. Due to the ethnically diverse population that we serve fluency in one or more foreign language is preferred. ESL Instructors Needed

ORT Technical Institute in Skokie is seeking part-time ESL instructors. Classes are held weekday mornings M-F and weekday evenings M-Th, with additional opportunities in our Learning Resource Center and new afternoon classes.

We are looking for instructors with a minimum of a BA and/or an MA in TESOL or related fields, and experience teaching ESL to adults.
